This is the Data Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) of MACAU THEME PARK AND RESORT II LIMITED and its affiliates and subsidiary entities in Macau (collectively, the “Company “or the “We”).  In order to provide multiple access points to the services and products we offer many websites, including, but not limited to, https://careers.lisboetamacau.com/ . Any one of these websites may ask for and collect your personal data in order to provide you with our products and/or services, enhance your experience, and provide you with other relevant information about our offerings.  This Privacy Policy applies to activities the Company engages in on its websites, mobile phone applications, and activities that are offline or unrelated to our websites, as applicable.

We are providing this notice to explain our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

This Privacy Policy sets forth the principles that govern our treatment of personal data. We expect all employees and those with whom we share personal data to adhere to this Privacy Policy.

The Company is committed to protecting the information that our guests, prospective guests, patrons, employees, and suppliers have entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data in any format or medium, relating to all guests, prospective guests, patrons, employees, suppliers and others who do business with the Company.

The Company respects all individuals’ privacy rights under all the laws that apply to it, all over the world.  Whenever possible, the Company accommodate privacy requests made by individuals.  Each request is evaluated to determine whether it can be accommodated without violating Macau legal obligations the Company is subject to and without creating a risk to the security or integrity of the other information we hold.

For residents of the European Union (“EU”), European Economic Area (“EEA”), and Switzerland, the Company recognizes the legal privacy protections afforded to individuals located in the EEA, the EU, and Switzerland, with regard to personal data.

What We Collect and How We Collect Your Information.

Cookie

“Cookies” are text files placed in your computer’s Internet browser.  Some cookies are served directly by us, and others are served by third parties, such as by advertising and data analytics providers.  Please refer to our Cookie Notice for more details.

You may choose to accept or reject the cookies, if you prefer to reject the cookies, you can modify your browser setting to block cookies. However, this will adversely affect your ability to use certain functionality and access certain content on the website.

We only collect personal data that you provide to us, or that we are authorized to obtain by you or by law.  For example, we obtain credit information to evaluate applications for credit, and we obtain background check information for vendors and employment applications.  The type of personal data we collect from you will depend on how you are interacting with us using our website, products, or services.  For example, we may collect different information from you when you make reservations, purchase gift certificates or merchandise, participate in a contest, or contact us with requests, feedback, or suggestions.  The information we collect may include your name, title, email address, mailing information, phone number, fax number, credit card information, travel details (flight number and details, points of origin and destination), room preferences, and other information you voluntarily provide or the Company obtains when authorized or required by Law.

When you enrol in our loyalty program, we also may collect your name, title, date of birth, email address and any and all data generated by your use of the card and your membership.

From mobile applications and internet connected devices. When you use one of our mobile phone applications, we also may collect your name, username, password, email address and any and all data generated by your use of the application. To give you the best possible user experience, we may use technologies that collect information from your phone when you use our mobile apps or our “smart” devices in your home. You consent to do this when downloading the app or installing household internet connected devices. This information could include your mobile phone or other device advertising ID, information about your phone’s operating system, how you use the app or device, and your physical location. You will get a pop up notice on your phone or device that gives you the option to accept or reject allowing us to know your precise geolocation (exactly where you are standing or where you are accessing the internet).

When you complete a credit application, we also may collect your credit information including your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth,  credit score, Social Security number, employment information, financial information, including bank account and bank rating information, supporting your eligibility to receive credit, other lines of casino credit in your name, and other information you provide to us to assist us in making a determination concerning extending credit to you.

When you complete an employment application, we also may collect your name or aliases, current and previous, mailing address information, current and previous, email address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, employment history, credit history, education, training, and skills, including licenses and certificates, convictions for felonies or misdemeanours, proof of eligibility to work, military service, and any other information provided in your employment application form.

From sites and emails. We may use technologies that automatically collect information when you visit our sites, view our advertisements, or use our products or services. For example, we use cookies (a tiny file stored on your computer’s browser) to tell us what browser and operating system you are using, your IP address, web pages you visit, links you click, or whether you have or have not opened an email from us.

From Calls. During calls with our customer support team, live listening may be done or calls may be recorded for quality and reference purposes which includes the usage of the recordings for the handling of claims, training and fraud detection purposes. If you would prefer that your call was not recorded, you can opt out by stating this, or by hanging up. Call recordings are kept for a limited amount of time and automatically deleted thereafter, unless we have a legitimate interest to keep such recording for a longer period, including for fraud investigation and legal purposes.

Information Collected During Your Stay

Check-In Information: When you provide your personal data to make your reservation, whether it be through our websites, by phone, or in person at one of our properties, we may use that data to complete your reservation request.  We also may need to collect information to comply with local laws, including your passport number, type of entry visa, date and place of birth, and driver’s license number.  If you choose to provide it, we also may collect additional information from you, including your frequent flyer or travel partner program information.

Preferences and Marketing:  When you check in, you may be asked whether you wish to receive promotional and other marketing materials, including your interest in participating in contests, promotional offers, or using certain services we can provide to you, such as membership in our loyalty program.  We also may send surveys to you to learn more about your stay and preferences.  You may withdraw your consent to receive marketing and promotional materials at any time.

Itemized Spending: During your stay, we record your itemized spending related to your reservation.  This includes your room rate, other expenses billed to your room, food and beverage preferences, and other special requests.  We collect and record this information to keep a record of your expenses and preferences during your stay and provide it to you upon check-out.

Facial Recognition and Video Surveillance: We use a facial recognition system in all our casinos and gaming areas and a closed circuit television and other security systems to monitor all public areas of our properties for safety and security reasons.  Facial recognition system and video surveillance cameras are used to protect us, our guests, and our employees.  We monitor our cameras, and may share surveillance footage with local law enforcement and/or regulatory authorities.

Other Sources of Data

When you interact with one of our properties, others may provide your information to us so that we can provide products and services.

Vendors, Suppliers, and Others Doing Business with Us:  We have strict rules in place to comply with the laws that apply to us.  Before we do business with a third party, we take reasonable steps to make sure that they will prudently protect the information we share with each other, including your personal data they may collect or receive.

Casino Credit:  For guests who request casino credit at our properties, we may collect/check, or hire a third party to collect/check, public records available about you.  We must collect this information to comply with the law, and to protect against financial risk.

Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE):  We may collect your data through events you attend with our exhibitor clients at any of our MICE event spaces.  When you attend an event and provide personal data during the registration process to exhibitors, we may have access to your personal data because we collect certain information from the exhibitors.

Third Parties Authorized By You:  When someone else arranges for you to interact with our properties, they may provide us information so that we can provide you with products and/or services during your visit.  For example, when your employer or a travel agent arranges for you to stay at one of our properties, they may provide us with the information listed above so that we can provide you with products and services.

How We Use Your Information

We limit the collection and use of your Data to the specific information we need to administer our business and provide highest quality services to our customers.

We may use the Data for one or more of the following purposes:

  1. to process reservation and/or purchase of goods or services;
  2. to confirm food and beverage and other entertainment arrangements including restaurants, cinemas, shows, events and packages reservations;
  3. to confirm travel arrangements including transport and hotel room reservation;
  4. to process billing and payment;
  5. for communications with users and us about our services;
  6. for identification and verification purposes;
  7. credit concession, debt collection, payments and bank transfers;
  8. audits (including audits by MACAU THEME PARK AND RESORT II LIMITED internal and external auditors);
  9. for marketing purposes (subject to your consent) such as to operate our online marketing campaigns and promotional programs, including notifying winners, informing and providing entitlements to discounts, benefits, entitlements, privileges and promotions etc.;
  10. to handle enquiries and complaints;
  11. for customer surveys to understand our customer’s desires and needs better; researching and/or designing products and/or services for customers, and promoting, improving and furthering the provision of products and/or services;
  12. for our own reference and record and for internal operational and administration purposes, including statistical analysis (including behaviour analysis and evaluation);
  13. to consider your job application
  14. to comply with any obligations, requirements or arrangements for disclosing and using the Data that apply to us, our subsidiaries and/or affiliates or are expected to comply with, according to any applicable law or regulation;

Direct Marketing Activities

We intend to use your Data for direct marketing purposes and will seek your consent before we do so. These direct marketing materials cover our marketing campaigns and promotional programs, in relation to products and services such as hotels, hospitality, travel and transports, retail, gaming, entertainment, food and beverage, other entertainment arrangements including restaurants, cinemas, shows, events and packages reservations, and any other products and services we may provide to you from time to time.

If you no longer want your Data to be used for the purposes of direct marketing activities, please write to us or send us an email at notifying us that you do not wish your Data to be used for such purposes.

How We Share Information

We may share information about you to the third parties as indicated below:

Other companies:When we have your consent, we may share your information with select partners so they can send you offers, promotions, or ads about products or services we believe you may be interested in.

Affiliates: We may share your personal data with our other properties, subsidiaries, and third parties if we need to.  If we share your information, we will share only the information that is necessary and we will take reasonable steps to make sure that third parties take prudent steps to protect your information.

Agents: We use others to help us provide some of our products and services (e.g., maintenance, IT support, analysis, audit, payments, marketing, development, credit, reservations, and security).  Unless we tell you differently or as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, our agents are expected not to have the right to use your information beyond what is needed to assist us.

Service providers: We may share your information with service providers who help us run our business, including hosting our sites, delivering our emails and marketing communications to you, analysing the data we collect, helping us with sales attribution (e.g., to see if we showed you an ad on a platform site and then you bought a product from us) and sending you the products and services you requested.

Legal Requests: We may be required to respond to legal requests for your information, including from Macau Courts and other law enforcement authorities, regulatory agencies, third party subpoenas, or other government officials, including but not limited authorities which regulate and/or have jurisdiction over gaming or non-gaming activities conducted by the Company.

Compliance with Legal Obligations: We may have to disclose certain information to auditors, government authorities, or other authorized individuals in order to comply with laws that apply to us or other legal obligations such as contractual requirements.

Other situations If a brand or one of our businesses with which you’ve shared personal data is sold to another company, your data will be shared with that company. As a result, your account and the personal data in it will not be deleted unless you tell the brand or new company that you want it deleted. We may also share your information with companies who help us protect our rights and property, or when required by law or government authorities. Your personal data may also be shared with third parties in exceptional circumstances, such as a national emergency, security concern, or other situation in which, the Company deems such disclosure is prudent.

International Transfers

We may transfer your personal information outside of Macau, namely to the U.S., Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, Mainland China, and other countries and jurisdictions outside of Macau or the country or jurisdiction in which the information originally was collected, including the countries and jurisdictions in which the Recipients operate.

In connection with the purposes described above, your information may be stored in locations outside of your home country, which may have different standards of data protection than your home country. We provide appropriate protections for cross-border transfers as required by law for international data transfers, including information transferred to third parties. With respect to such transfers from the European Economic Area (“EEA”) to the United States and other non-EEA jurisdictions, we may rely on the EU Model Clauses and/or the need to process your information in order to provide the requested services (performance of a contract) to transfer your information. Disclosure / Transfer of Information

We will maintain the confidentiality of your information, but may provide or transfer your information to third parties as detailed above under ” How We Share Information”, which may include transferring your information to persons to whom we are required to make disclosures to under applicable law within or outside Mainland China.

Transfer of Information Overseas

We will generally maintain your information on servers in Macau, Hong Kong or any other data centres outside Mainland China. However, we may transfer your information to third parties mentioned above who may be located outside Mainland China.

How We Safeguard Your Information

We strive to take appropriate security measures to help safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access and disclosure.  For example, only authorized employees are allowed to access personal data, and they may only access it for permitted business functions.  We also use technology to protect your information, including encrypting sensitive personal data that is transferred to or from our systems and using firewalls to help prevent unauthorized persons from accessing information.  If you have an online account with us, your account is also protected by a password for your privacy and security, and you must prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal data by selecting and protecting your password appropriately, limiting access to your devices, and by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, or alteration of information will never occur, we use reasonable efforts to prevent it.  Please keep in mind that no method of storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so your use of our products and services and provision of information to us is at your own risk.

The information practices of those websites linked to our websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which our website links. Rights of Access and Correction of Data

You may request access to and correction of your Data.

Legal Gaming Age Policy

Pursuant to the laws of Macau, you are reminded that persons under the age of twenty-one (21) are not permitted to enter into the casino areas. Other jurisdictions may have other age limitations on activities or information that may be discussed or included in the websites.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your jurisdiction does not have any applicable restrictions on age that would otherwise limit your ability in browsing, using, or otherwise retrieving information through this website and our other websites. Language

To the extent that there are any inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of this Privacy Policy, the English version shall prevail.
